Dave Wegryn -- Software Inventor
Dave is a very creative spirit who is tireless in finding efficient, all-around solutions to those hard questions that plague the software development frontier.
Dave has explored many different problems areas – non-contact gauging, electronic data exchange, and of course, the ever growing range of speech technology. He has a strong background in various high-level programming technologies. He has spent a number of years of at the frontier of advanced programming development
with complex systems ranging from robotics to visualization, and of course, a number of years of experience with dialog and computer speech technologies.
He helped design and implement an early conversational e-mail reader for the
telephony environment.
Dave has nearly a decade of intense OO experience, and is skilled with Active X components.
Dave has worked with the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM) to develop a data acquisition and analysis system for the Ford Motor Company.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Theory and Analysis at Western Michigan University including a minor in Mathematics. He continues his studies focusing on Operating Systems, Parallel Processing, Neural Networks, Computer Simulation and Modeling, and Theory of Computation.
Dave’s strong Internet skills provide a solid base for some of the forward-looking projects
that are focused on human-computer conversations distributed over the Net.
