Strategic partnership of ejTalk and Voxpilot brings cutting-edge voice technology to Europe.

Detroit, Michigan, USA and Dublin, Ireland - May 8, 2002 - ejTalk, a technology group focused on the elements of conversation in human-machine speech applications, and Voxpilot, the leading pan-European voice portal, have announced a strategic partnership to address the cutting edge of voice technology.

Under this alliance, ejTalk (pronounced "edge talk") will undertake two areas of partnership with Voxpilot. As an enabling technologies partner, ejTalk will integrate the components of ejTalk's tools and technologies into the Voxpilot platform. Additionally, ejTalk will design and create specific applications to run on the Voxpilot platform as part of Voxpilot's developer partnership agreement. ejTalk uses ASR and TTS products as the standard input/output layer to create intelligent synthetic agents who are capable of providing useful functionality in a natural way. The current plan is to build prototypes and design specific conversational applications for any type of interactive conversational situation for use on the Voxpilot platform.
