ejTalk has a member on Tools Group

Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, May 22, 2003 -- Emmett Coin, founder, technical lead, and Industrial Poet of ejTalk, Inc., has joined the Tools Group that is part of the VoiceXML Forum. The Tools group is dedicated to creating tools to help develop open VoiceXML specifications that can become an industry standard. Tools Group members come from several leading speech development companies including IBM, Audium, VoiceGenie, Unisys, TellMe, Oracle, Fonix, and others. The VoiceXML forum offers companies interested in VoiceXML technology a chance to share knowledge and information as well as develop methods for ensuring the transportability of voice applications between platforms, tools and applications. The Forum is a part of the IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO).

This is another opportunity for ejTalk to be a part of the developing standards for emerging applications that support voice/conversation technologies. ejTalk's goal is to be a very active voice in the development of standards and methodologies that are the future of the human-computer conversation model.

ejTalk, Inc. is creating the technology that will be the foundation of voice-based synthetic agents, specifically focusing on Conversation Management. ejTalk offers consultation, and Conversation Management (CM(c)) tools and engines, emphasizing the mechanics of conversation rather than pre-set lists of command phrases.
